Dear Hakuna Users,
We regret to inform you that Hakuna service will be discontinued in the United States and the United Kingdom as of November 28, 2023. Accordingly, we will no longer accept new users from October 6, 2023, and in-app subscriptions and features will no longer be available to purchase starting October 20, 2023. After the end-of-service date, you will not be able to install or update Hakuna, and the service will no longer be available for use on the app that has been previously installed.
Regarding personal information: Personal information collected for the use of the service will be deleted within 3 months after the end of the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Therefore, please note that we may not be able to process your request for access to personal information or other inquiry after the deletion of personal information.
Regarding cancellation of renewal and refund of Hakuna subscription services: Your current subscription services will be renewed automatically. We are not able to cancel your subscriptions directly on Hakuna. Therefore, please make sure to complete the cancellation process on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Please follow the steps below on how to cancel automatic renewals:
For Android users:
1. Open the Google Play app
2. Tap your **Profile** icon at the top right
3. Select **Payments & subscriptions**
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel
5. Tap **Cancel subscription**

1. Open the **Settings** app
2. Tap your profile (Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases)
3. Select **Subscriptions**
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel
5. Tap **Cancel Subscription**

How to request a refund: You can request a refund for the remaining term of your existing subscription, prorated from the end-of-service date, or for the remaining Diamond at the end-of-service date. If you think you are eligible for a refund, please submit a refund request to Hakuna Help Center along with the receipt of payment from the app store. You may have to provide additional information in the refund process.
