1. Connect to Hakuna Live Studio on your PC
1.1. Access the Hakuna Live homepage and log in with your account: https://hakuna.live/
1.2. After logging in, enter the OBS studio: https://hakuna.live/en/stream/studio
1.3. Issue or reissue your Bearer token (stream key) from the OBS information tab.
2. Install and run OBS 30.0 or later version
※ Previous OBS users must update to version 30.0 or later.
If necessary, delete the old version and install the new version via the link below.
- Download the latest version of OBS
3. Configure OBS settings
a. After running OBS, go to the Settings menu.
b. Select the Streaming tab and set the service to [WHIP].
c. Enter Hakuna Studio's [OBS information] - [Server URL] value in Server.
d. For Bearer token, enter the value of Hakuna Studio's [OBS info] - [Bearer token (stream key)].
e. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
4. Output Settings
a. Go to the Output tab in OBS Settings.
b. Select "Advanced" as the output method.
c. Check (V) Rescale output and select 1280x720.
d. If your video encoder is not "x264" (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, etc.)
- Bitrate: 2500 Kbps
- Keyframe interval: 1s
- 'B screen' or 'max B frames': 0
- Uncheck Subjective Video Enhancement.
- Skip any of the above settings that you don't see on screen.

e. When the video encoder is x264
- Bitrate: 2500 Kbps
- Keyframe interval : 1s
- x264 settings (separated by spaces): bframes=0 Enter directly
5. Video Settings
a. In OBS Settings, go to the Video tab.
b. b. Set the output (scaled) resolution to 1280x720.
c. Select a standard FPS value of 30 (or 24 NTSC).
d. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
6. OBS Stream Picture & Sound Settings

OBS source list settings: In the source list at the bottom of OBS, you can configure the screen and sound to be exposed in your stream. Hakuna streams can typically include various elements such as [cam, PC screen, chat window, gift window].
- Add a cam: To show a cam screen, add "Video capture device" and select a cam device.
- Add a PC screen: To show the streamer's monitor screen, add "Display capture" and select the monitor screen you want to display.
- Add a chat window: To show a chat window on the stream screen, add a "Browser" source and enter Hakuna Studio's [chat window URL] in the URL.
- Add a gift window: To display a gift notification on the stream, add a "browser" source and enter your Hakuna Studio's [gift window URL] in the URL. (Same as "Add chat window")
- Add an entry effect window: To show viewer entry effects on the stream, add the "Browser" source and enter Hakuna Studio's [Entry effect URL] in the URL. (Same as "Add chat window")
- Source list order: Adjust the source list in the order you want to arrange the screen size and position to your liking. (Recommended setting: put the webcam screen at the bottom and move the chat window, gift window, etc. up to create the streaming screen).
7. Start streaming

Check your Hakuna Studio settings before going live
- In Hakuna Studio, you can set up and change the title, announcements, and more for your stream. This will help you inform your viewers about your stream and allow you to manage your stream more professionally.

Start streaming
- Once all settings are complete, click the Start Stream button in the bottom right corner of OBS to start broadcasting.
※ Instructions and Notes
- If you follow the above settings, you may experience a streaming delay of about 1-2 seconds.
- If you access Hakuna from another device with the account you are streaming from, or if your OBS settings are different from the guide, the stream may end.
- If the OBS program is disconnected during the stream, you will need to restart the stream.
